Recaro cloth or Leather?

Is it worth it to get the leather seats? I'm asking because my locals only have cloth evo gsr right now that's wicked white. If I wanted leather for brand new ww evo gsr I have to wait like 3 months order it will be 2014 instead. Is this the last year of evo? I want to get one but dont know if its worth the wait for leather or just pick up the cloth WW evo gsr?

If you don't mind waiting the leather does add a nice sophisticated touch to the interior. I was personally in a similar situation when I was looking to purchase an evo. I really wanted leather but didn't want to wait a couple months so I just ended up getting cloth. Honestly I haven't regretted my decision once.

As a side note, Mitsubishi offers a certified leather program. So if you end up getting cloth and regretting it you can switch to leather which can be customized as well.

I have the leather + heated seats, I love them, I guess i was lucky enough they had GSR in SSSL when i was purchasing. If they have the car in stock with leather seats get it, if you have to wait, no way just get whatever is available

My vote goes to leather. I looked and sat in both. IMO, the leather is that much nicer, better looking, and classier. I looked around to find the exact car/options I wanted. Better to wait for what you want than compromise if you have a choice. I remember a thread here showing how a leather option is available through Mitsu at the dealership...Just saw Lippy1306 beat me to it

IMO the SL package is definetly worth it. It's $1800 MSRP, but the leather looks really nice. You also get
  • Power glass sunroof with sunshade
  • Leather seating surfaces
  • Heated seats
  • Gloss black center console and shifter surround
  • Center console storage with lid (x2)
  • Sound dampening enhancement
I like my sunroof as well. I dont really use it on the drive home since I live in Texas and it's really hot right now, but I use it every morning since I go to work early.

The SL package also puts a silver strip on the piano black dash interior. Nothing special really but looks ok. But to me the additional sound dampening is very noticeable.

You could get the Mitsubishi Certified Leather program seats installed. The OP in the thread below had it done and it looks really nice. It is a little pricey IMO. Around $1200 for regular leather and $1500 for two toned. Then it's also extra for the heated option.

Is this cheaper? Gosh I hate the wait. Hear problems with cloth staples but its not show on leather.

It may be just me, but those leather seats look awful heavy. Any specs on them?
