at my shop we use these for people that wanted like an ipod or aux input through RF converter for radio that lack aux input. i thought all evos had factory aux tho. unless someone wanted a specific ipod cable deal.

take cover off and trace wires. its not a high current button so whatever it is it can't be too serious.

 

The base models definitely do not have the aux. I'm wondering if my 13 with the SS even has it. I see the box, but it doesn't look like it opens up.

 

Does it have aftermarket fog lights?

 

whatever WAS done to the car, the guy took off before trading it in, I'm the 3rd owner, 2nd owner only had the car for a month and then traded it for a brand new STi (buyers remorse, his loss was my gain, got the car financed @20K)
