Questoin about Greedy BOV
im trying to get an BOV from greddy but im not sure if its ok to put it in to my stock 2012 evo x. would it be ok to put it on or do i have to do stuff to it before putting a bov on it?
PS: also getting a greddy spectrum elite exhaust.

There is absolutely no need for a blow off valve on a stock evo, period. If you want a more audible blow off valve sound, get an open filter intake.
If you are looking to get the "woosh" sound i would recommend to go with the TurboSmart BOV i personally have it and love it. that was my first mod when i purchased my 12gsr. You can see it at the link below. At the end of the day its your car, your money, and your choice!

cobb sf intake. you can hear the spool and blow off muchhhh better!!!
I had a perrin drop in filter which did help but the cobb sf intake.. wowowowowowwww .. i'd do that first. then try a bov if ur still no satisfied.
look for a friend that already has one and you will see the difference between you stock intake and the cobb! =)

Just to set things straight, getting an aftermarket bov will do NOTHING to your car, except change the noise. The ONLY difference between stock bovs and aftermarket bovs is that am ones hold more psi, and sound different. Anyone that says you lose hp with a part vta bov doesnt know much aboutbovs.
