But in general, it is agreed the evo x is the better handling vehicle.
lol do you know the difference between subjective opinion and fact?

Another thing, talk about misinformation filled threads. Thats a complete flame war thread where misinformation is throw around more than a hooker in las vegas...

Found it on page 51. And read all the follow up posts as well. Nuff said
lol i highly doubt that you read that entire thread, especially considering you didn't know that all evos have 3 diffs. i never said the ct9a handling was better than the cz4a's. im just calling out your obvious lack of technical knowledge of the cars, and telling you to stop spreading it.

i get it. you just bought your car, and you're very proud of it. you bought it because it was the best performing car for the money. all im saying is to stop spreading info that isn't true. check what the national champs for scca for stu has been for the past few years, and asp past year. check who was breaking the TTA track records the past couple years and the SCCA T2 champs

Dude i dont need to read every page of that thread because its all argueing and flaming about which is better. Theres nothing concrete n that thread. And im not trying to "spread lack of technical knowledge" lets review this thread:

He asked which he should buy

I said huy an 8 or 9 for a drag car, a 10 if you want a good handling car

I claimed the 8s and 9s understeer, do you disagree?

Those were the main facts i pointed out. Please prove that im wrong on both accounts...

Im not here to argue with someone that has a big ego over 4000 posts. No i dont know everything about the evos but from what i can see as the general consensus is what i tell others. But im not new to cars, and definitely not to forums. This guy asked a question and i answered. If you are in this thread to flame, just admit it. I gave a direct answer to tye question he asked, and you didnt. The point of a forum is to share advice and opinions.

lol. "main facts." you said a lot more than that - most of it untrue, and that was the problem. so many new guys coming in posting misinformation, esp about how the evo's awd system works. i said there's misinformation that's been posted and to read more. period. i don't want to have to get into the technical discussion about everything again

Well anyway i will just agree to disagree. We obviously cant get our points across to eachother, and like i said im not here to argue. Just please post a response to the OP question next time, not a troll post telling him to go read newbie threads.

please learn more about evos instead of spreading false information. thanks

i told OP to search bc this question has been asked more than a dozen times - guess where they all get merged to. anyone who's been here long enough that would bother responding will say the same.

I know that because ive been in forums for awhile. But its never going to stop. I feel good at least trying to answer a question for someone, even if its been answered before. People like you just cause problems for no reason and conplain about noobs posting questions that are answered in stickies.

OP, I think what everyone is getting at is that the X handles better than the IX stock for stock, however, given the right upgrades both cars are capable of great things.

You can not go wrong no matter what Evo you buy, as long as it is and Evo!

When 2 members debate issues like this. It can be a good thing. We can read and learn from threads like this. But we musty do it with respect. After all we are all in the same boat.

I owned a full bolt on + cammed 8. I now own a X. I can say If i wanted a full blown big build car it would be an 8 or 9. For a DD bolt on car definitely the X. As others have said the 8's and 9's are true raw gritty little go karts. The X is refined and grown up. The creature comforts are fantastic and it handles like a dream. Makes tons of power with bolt-ons and tears up a track plenty fast enough for most owners. I do honestly want to buy another 8 one day just for the absolute no frills raw feeling that car embodies.. see what the wife says =) Also as a note: my X is bone stock so ... Im guessing the coilovers on the 8 helped that raw feel just a tad ;P

Also, new cars lower mileage less abuse..

To the OP's questiong... a turbo civic hatch with huge power... if you want to relive those days get an 8 or 9 imo..

Im gonna now and shred some twisties with the X good day !
