Cool Thinking of getting an sst evo

Dear forum names Mohannad from Saudi Arabia, just had a couple questions regarding the sst trans, are there any differences with the shift speeds and aggressiveness when transitioning from normal sports and s-sport, is there also a slight shift shock when shifting like an smg? I love the car and I'm tired of manual both my r34 and Tt are manual and I'm tired, my r34 triple plate clutch destroyed my leg, I'm also selling it anyway, so I just want to have a good ddrive car I can have fun n go to work with, I was gonna buy an m5 but running costs on that thing isn't a nice thing, so I just settled between an evo x and isf and now my heart just wants the evo so guys is there anything else I should lone about the car lol....oh and since GCC spec evos don't come with nav touch screen n all that it only had a standard Rockford fosgate system is it possible to change the head unit?

The SST will shift progressively more aggressively as you toggle through Normal, Sport and S-Sport.

Like any non-CVT transmission there will always be some shift shock. And it does tend to get more noticeable as you ramp up the awesome.

One of the major things to be aware of with the SST is the threshold at which the transmission will over heat if you start modding. This happens much faster in the SST than it does in the 5-speed. There are transmission coolers and clutch packs available, but they're a little on the spendy side.

And yes, you can change the head unit.

A few shops offer clutch packs that support 400/600 hp. SSP for example.

I also noticed something weird about the transmission behavior after tuning them to the 500 hp region, I noticed on a lot of videos on YouTube that when they up shift it doesn't respond fast like a dct should, examples YouTube cranberry evo ull see his sst is more like an automatic, there was an old ssp video as well where he would click the + paddle up shift then a sec later it up shifts like its not on point why is that happening with only modded sst evos?

Looool hahah well I honestly cried after I sold It....but my friends are like it's better for me, it was an 800 awhp 34 and things just kept going wrong with it...and honestly man it's too expensive to maintain I can't afford it.....I can always buy another one, here in saudi we have a ton of 32 33 34 and 35 gtrs so it's not a problem, I just want a daily driver and I just love the sst evo always wanted to try it out, back in 2004 I had an evo VI RS loved it had an accident sold it then got a supra horrible investment, saved up got an r34 and man what a car that was but hey nothing lasts forever so it's all good.
