Car not starting

So today I try to start my car and it won't turn on. There's power since my gauges and lights turn on. So I don't think it's a battery issue, but could be. Car is just over three years old and I haven't changed the battery yet. I've noticed the past few weeks the car has been struggling to turn on. Anyone experience something like this?

Thanks guys. Waiting on the dealer. Hopefully it's something small and inexpensive.

Sorry for not updating. It was my spark plugs that went out. Could have been much worse.

Spark plugs don't just "go out" the dealer told you that????

(Are you sitting down?)

I agree. I would want to know why the plugs "went out." If it was due to a fueling issue, for example, next time it could be more/worse than the plugs.

Actually it was my fault apparently. I have a 93 pro tune and where I lived recently downgraded to 91 octane so I was using octane booster every three weeks and about 2 months after I was using octane booster it went out. I should have noticed earlier because I was noticing the car taking a bit longer to start.

Octane booster is waste of money. Just get a gallon of toluene at a hardware store and throw it in before adding 10 gallons of whatever.

I'm assuming, of course, that you don't actually drive on public streets since you won't have paid road tax for the toluene.

Note, also, that paying cash is wise if you're buying a gallon of toluene each week. Wouldn't want to end up on the NSA's no-fly list, now would we?

ps. I will now return control of this account to its rightful owner, that guy that doesn't have a JD but seems to be more than slightly hung up on the law
