10 Years and FINALLY!!!

Hey everyone, long time Evo lover finally made the plunge! I have watched the forums for a while and have been shopping seriously for the last month or so. I picked up my 2012 GSR Mercury Grey Pearl this afternoon. This was a modded car with 10k miles on it. After doing hours of research I decided that this setup and vehicle was a good match since if I were to buy stock car I would most likely end up doing everything it has anyway. I saved the $$ on the bolt ons. I have a couple questions I was hoping some of you could chime in on. Thanks.

Question 1 - what do you expect a car like this to make HP wise see mod list below?(previous owner claims 375Whp - I'm scepticle but HAPPY

Question 2 - if the car was tuned already would you retune it just to make sure everything is legit?

Question 3 - if answer to 2 was yea, where should I go in CT?

Question 4 - what do you think longevity, mileage, life of a setup like this?(driven modestly, most of the time)

Power Mod list:
Turbo XS Catback
Depot Cat Delete
ETS Downpipe & O2 Dump
Fujita Intake
AMS intercooler
Crushed Diverter
Hard pipes hot/cold
Cobb Access port
Running Stg 2 OTS Map (revised and tuned)

Sounds about right.

Question 2 - if the car was tuned already would you retune it just to make sure everything is legit?

Personally, yes. Especially since it's a OTS tune on an AP? Right?

Question 3 - if answer to 2 was yea, where should I go in CT?

Live in California.

Pretty reliable as long as it's maintained properly and on-time.

Congrats btw.

The Fujita intake throws me off since i havent heard of that brand before. 2012's are said to make less power, with full bolt ons i made 348 whp and 332 wtq @ 25psi. The only way i can see your car making that power is running E85. However, the crushed diverter valve suggests that your car may be running higher boost to make those numbers on pump gas. I would suggest data logging to see whats going on there. If it was me, i would take it in for a re-tune to make sure everything is running sound. I would go to Ivey tune and speed circuit since they arent too far from you.

Numbers you'll see all depends on the dyno you use

I'd definitely get a new tune, who knows where it was tuned before, but can't be too safe on a modded Evo!

Congrats though! Looks like a really nice start!

I'm with the other guys, I would recommend a tune to make sure everything is in check. Looks good so far!

Definitely retune, especially right now since the weather is cooling down. Our cars love the cool and cold. Yes the power seems legit. My mod list gets me very close to where you are. I DD my car (ODO 32.5k as of 10/23) and have absolutely no mechanical issues... just cosmetic... stupid paint.

Im guessing with those mods ur car makes like 360 to the wheels. 375 whp on 93 pump sounds like the tune is aggressive and maybe not safe!

Any recommendations on tuners I'm CT? I heard of the guys in Newtown, Danbury and Milford. I usually like doing things like this through referrals and experience.

Thanks for the feedback!

too many variables, season, weather, dyno, and tune, but its possible.

Question 2 - if the car was tuned already would you retune it just to make sure everything is legit?
DYNO TUNE the only way to go, so, YES.
