Question Loud banging noise when blower is on

Whenever I turn on my heat and accelerate all of a sudden there's a very loud banging noise that comes from the dash. Honestly I have no idea what it is... Whether the engine is cold or warm it still does it. And this started happening as the weather got colder and snow started to fall, thus I never had this problem in the summer. Anyone know what could be causing this??

If it wuz me...
I'd pull the fan motor and see if any debris is in the box. Check the blades for signs of rubbing.

Check the flapper door for hitting the fan...

How does one go about this?? This may seem n00b but is the fan motor the one right under the cabin air filter??

Yep!
Most new ones you disconnect the wiring and just rotate (CCW) IIRC and pull down. Once you look under there you should see what holds it on...

Thanks a bunch I checked and there was a small rock that got through the filter and was just bouncing around.. Took it out and problem solved
