I ordered my prosport electronic boost gauge about 2 weeks ago, today I hooked it up for the first time and it fails to work. All wires leading to the gauge show continuity. Is this a common problem with prosport gauges not working out of the box?

 

I haven't heard of any problems with the prosport boost gauges before. I used to drive a mazdaspeed6 and a lot of speed6 owners used those gauges because they match the dash lights perfectly. I guess there's always a chance you got a bad one...

 

Update: the problem was isolated to the gauge harness. The ground wire slipped out of the quick connect and was not making contact. The gauge is now working fine.
