How much really my car worth?
It depends, but my gut tells me that that won't be the case, unless they really screw it up and make it handle worse, which I don't see being the case. I'm sure that Mitsubishi is aiming to make it more fuel efficient, which in itself is a big advantage. It's not as if people wouldn't welcome improved gas mileage, as it would certainly make the car easier to live with on a day-to-day basis.
NADA is a good guide, I'd say 23ish for that car, they do their required maintenance check and whatever needs to be done then sell it for 25/26K.
I recently took my 2012 Ralliart (premium package) with 24,000km to the dealer for an oil change. I ended up trading it in for a 2014 Evolution GSR with handling package.
The General Manager happend to cut the deal for me, so no Sales guys involved here. He started off with a trade in value of $23k for the Ralliart. I told him no way and that he would pretty much have to give me full value for the Ralliart if he wanted to make the sale on the Evo X.
I sealed the deal with them giving me $30k for trade in value for the Ralliart. I now drive a 2014 GSR with handling package

Correct, prices for these cars in Canada are much higher than the US. Although they will probably sell the 2012 Ralliart for $29-$30k, they will probably break even or lose $1k on it. They will however sell the Ralliart quick, and the key here is that they made a sale on an Evo X.
People are not readily buying new cars these days. Even for a deal that is close to break even for the dealer, they will still sell it, as it counts towards the sale of a new car. You definately got to know how to negotiate and be firm with the dealer. If I had just jumped on the deal without negotiating, I would have lost $7k value in the trade in.

I guess in the end, the X may hold value on the private market when you find the right buyer, rather than a dealership that has no real passion or interest in boost.
I think the big issue with the next evo, if it is a hybrid, is going to be how modifiable it can be. I don't think that you are going to be able to do the things that everyone is doing now with the Xs, or previous models for that matter. That being said, even though the X's don't have the sharpness in handling of the previous models, its still a very desirable car, worthy of similar price demands should it become unavailable in the future.
