high rpm noise around 5000 to 7000

Okay so I just put a new competition clutch stage 3 and I'm still in 500 miles breaking mode but I gave it some wot today just to see how good it feels and I get this noise that I can't figure out what the heck it is!!! its almost like vibrating lose metal to grinding sound has anyone had this problem and what is it? car feels great no signs of power loss I'm at 47k please help just became a evo owner and not sure if I'm happy

Well, your happiness is entirely up to you...though I could recommend a few pamphlets...

As for the noise, We had some interesting noises when letting the clutch out quickly (always under WOT) on their big twin disc. CC confirmed this was normal given the nature of the clutch. Hard to tell if yours is the same thing. but you might call them - great guys and happy to help.

So I figured it out and don't laugh it's my first evo thanks but the sound was cut the s-awc was low on oil so when they put oil in the canister in the trunk with I totally forgot :/ she's running like a champ thanks for the help guys

If you really put "oil" in the ACD/AYC reservoir, I see a "WTB ACD/AYC pump" thread in your future.

ps. if you ran low enough on fluid to causes noises, then the system needs to be bled
