Schroth Profi II Sub install

I'm curious if anybody has installed the 6 point harness and how they mounted the sub strap? It came with two plates for the O (D ring, not sure what the correct name is) Ring bolt to go into. It doesn't have any holes in it except the threaded one for the O ring hook. I'm guessing I drill my own holes in the plate and drill through the floor. I'm
assuming I should do a backing plate under the car or are the forces on the sub strap not that great in a collision where it's not needed?

I found some installs but seem to only be 4 point.

This is what I have done so far. I'll probably raise the seat a little to put it more in line with the harness bar.

If I remember correctly from your roll-bar thread, you don't have any rules to obey. If that's correct, I'd just weld a crossbar to the seat-bracket and be done with it. Don't do anything radical unless and until you dump the sliders and mount the seats solidly.

From what I determined in that thread my bar is mounted an an angle within tolerance.

The sub belts on the harness have to be mounted either way for the belts to fit tight so I may as well do it the best way. Going to be under the seat anyways. But you did give me a good idea. I have the Planted base maybe I can mount them directly to it. It's pretty thick. I thought about mounting the seats no sliders since there isn't much room for them to slide anyways. They hit the seatbelt bolt so I'm only getting a few inches either way. But that's going to lower the seat and I'm trying to get it higher until I decide on the Cobras.

Yep. My last car had a 5-pt with Corbeau sliders, which happen to have a crossbar in exactly the right place. I anchored the crotch strap to the crossbar and was done.

Actually I was overthinking it. Just need to drill one hole for each plate and mount the plate under the car with the eyebolt going through the floor. Don't need to drill the plates and don't need a plate on both sides.

Maybe you don't have to worry about this on pavement, but I would never use an eyebolt going down through the floor for any belt unless it had a skidplate over it. Imagine what would happen to you if the tail of said bolt snagged on something.

Not sure but all the bolts for the roll bar hang down. That's pretty high up though. There are a lot of other parts that would need to rip off like just about everything there before getting to that bolt. At some point the odds come into play. Besides I don't think the bolts sticks out much since it has to go through a nut welded to a thick plate.
