Thnx mate for your reply, my evo is gone nuts , seems like it got a mind of its own, I just changed the engine oil, just gave it a try as the oil was good enough to run about may be 1000 miles , drove it with ease for about 30 miles, off the engine and about an hour later no engine check light, then I try to push it slowly in s-sport mode the 6th gear was there, and then when I really give an aggressive push, the 6th gear is not catching up,

So what ive concluded from my experiments is that aggresive driving doesnt allow the shiffting from 5th to 6th, but all works normal in manual mode,

My question
1.need sst oil change?
2.clutches worn?
3.is it necessary to tune the car after upgrading the exhoust?
4. I had also replaced spark plugs from factory to high power hks. Need a retune?

 

Got trany oil n filter changed , I had hks sparkplugs on snd went for a test drive, gave it a push and same problem , this time engine check light came up. Did a diagnosis check it said fuel relay error and then decided to give a try on going back to oem sparkplugs, and finally I had a smile,

She shifted perfectly on all modes and the engine light was off after I drove about 100 kms
