First I want to say that I'm not very tech-savy. I have a friend helping me install the AEM fail safe gauge. Even though he works on cars, he's not very familiar with the Evo. I did some searching online, but there are so many different opinions, some sounded very wrong as people started hooking wires to ECU. It got confusing as I read more... people started commenting on ECU blowing up..

I have the UEGO sensor mounted in the exhaust already.

Black wire was grounded.

Red power wire installed.

The gauge works now, just not as a failsafe.

so question is, where do these other wires go?

1) Blue Failsafe
2) Yello Boost
3) White AFR
4) Brown Ground
5) Grey Dash
6) Green RPM

 

anyone with AEM fail safe installed can chim in??? or know where I can find instructions for Evo install?

looks like I have to go find a shop for install then.

 

did you get the manual with the gauge?
