+1 SS

2013 GSR w/SS here. I plenty of research going into buying the car. I liked the idea of fast key even if it wasn't actual push button start. I just wanted HID so the fast key and stereo were a plus.

Sounds great compared to most stock sound systems

Didn't think I'd notice much of a difference with the sight and sound vs. without. After test driving a GSR with it and without, the extra 2 grand it cost was totally justified.

The HID's are not that bad for a stock set up either.

Picked up a 2012 Base GSR yesterday, but had the RF System in a 4G Eclipse a couple years back, and there's definitely a big difference. Realistically speaking, I'll order an ETS OD Downpipe soon enough, so there's no need for crisp clear audio. Guess it's all personal preference.

Fast key for the win!

Even if it dies you can remove the spare and still use it. just turns into a regular key at that point.

Stereo is nice, but if you really want a killer system you will need to go custom

I have SS pkg and I like it; plenty good for me. Better EQ would be nice; but for stock I can't complain too much.

When I first test drove my GSR I was like "where the hell does the key go?" I felt like such an idiot.; i've been used to normal keys my whole life. The fast key is awesome once you get used to it. No more digging in your pocket for keys. Rockford Fosgate system has good sound; could do without the navigation though.

I heard that once your battery dies your screwed also is that true?
Any input would help. Planning on picking a X up with tax returns. Can't wait to see how it goes.

No not screwed at all. the key is inside the fob incase of such emergency. just take the key out of fob and pull off plastic over key hole on ignition.
