So I saw a video that this one guy wishes he would of gotten the Rockford sound system instead... Because he has to really turn it up to hear the music. I was just wonder is it really that bad without it?

 

What are the pros and cons?

Smart key pros:
- nice
-fast
-easy

Smart key cons:
- if ur screwed ur SCREWED..

Regular key:
- the same old key like the others which I'm used to.. Lol

I have a base model evo so I don't have fast key. I personally like turning the key LOL idk why

 

Yes i dont care what anyone says, its bad. I have it and would have not got the car with out it.

 

I went from a sound system in my other car to the stock oem in the evo and its pretty bad LOL. Max volume isn't very loud and the music just sounds terrible in my opinion. Planning on doing a sound system anyway though so thats why I didn't go with the rocksford. I've ridden in a corolla that sounds better lol. And our cars are like 2x the price.

Man the only thing that sucks is...
1. I want the Rockford sound system.
2. I want OEM HIDS just to make it easier for me to switch out different HID bulbs I want..

Get the sight and sound package.

 

Package is great still have to turn rockford to 20 for a good volume. Good qualitly for stock though. The fast key is awesome! Plus youre not screwed if its broken there is a key in the remote. The feeling of no keys is cool all you donis walk up to the car its great

 

I would personally get it. Why not have a good some system straight from the factory.

 

you still turn a "key" on the ignition. the "key" doesnt come out. Its not a push button like some of the newer cars now unless 2013+ changed that.

 

Sight and Sound is the way to go, i sell Mitsubishi's and its rare for anyone to buy one here without that package. also your not screwed if the key has problems or the battery dies because there is a key in the fob so you just have to take the key out and turn it the opposite way and put it into the FOB, then remove the "fast Key" and start it up but without putting the key back into the FOB the engine immoblizer wont allow it to start

I had the SSS Package on my X.... It BLEW away my mustangs shaker 500 and was lightyears better then the oem sound system on my friends x.
