Hey guys i just did a change and put in 5 full quarts. I may have not drained it for long enough. The dipstick is showing about 1/4 of a inch above the full mark. The oil does not look foamey or anything i was just wondering if i should drian some .

Me personally, I'd drain some. Could cause some damage to your crankshaft and/or oil pump.

 

Unlikely to do damage, cerainly won't hurt your crankshaft, won't hurt to drain a bit though

 

Was/is your car parked on a slope when draining or filling?

I would drain a little personally.

 

Do some track events or drive hard as hell and you should be good

 

A 1/4 is fine. Not foamed=good2Go.

Personally, I wouldn't worry. You'll be fine

 

Haha ive drained 1/2 quart . Leveled on the full mark now just to be safe
