BBX Lite (Ball Bearing) - 93 octane

I just got my car (2013 GSR) back from CBRD and I am very impressed with the level of customer service and how they literally improved every aspect of my car's driving characteristics. It came in to CBRD with all bolt-ons on stock turbo running a 93 octane tune from another big name shop. This tune made 335 wtq and only 260 whp on chad's mustang dyno as the tune was a bit sloppy with controlling boost and fell on its face super hard.

I wanted him to make a safe street tune with the occasional trip to the track in mind. With that being said, the car ended up with 312 wtq and 398 whp (raw numbers) on 93 octane on a 80 degree day with 40 % humidity on only 24.5 lbs of boost. Torque is literally flat as a table and the car drives soooo much better on part throttle. This is especailly noticable in 5th gear below 70mph as the bucking and BOV flutter is completely gone. Mods list is below. Dyno sheet to follow. Car hits full boost (24.5 psi) by 3400 rpms.

Power:

CBRD BBX Lite (ball bearing)
GSC S1 cams
Stock block
ID 1000cc injectors
ETS Recirc DP and Test pipe
Cobb cat back
ETS intake
3 port
ETS 3.5 inch intercooler with UICP and LICP

Handling:

Ohlins Road and Track
Braille 6 pound lithium battery
G force Rival rubber

I thought 24.5 was pretty low for 93 octane, most cars to hit 400ish on a mustang that I've seen are pushing between 25.5 and 26.5.

Thanks. The cams really did help with the spool.

24.5 is a nice safe number for a street tune, definitely not high. I'm tuned around that by Chad as well. Nice numbers, congrats!

Thanks, i'm so pleased overall with how the car drives. Really made the street manners much better for DD as well.

24.5 on 93 is a good safe repeat customer boost.

Keep in mind, it doesn't mean your bullet proof.
Watch your gauges, log, log, log, study the log and know your car at diffrent rpm's.

Enjoy the new intoxicating power!

Chad is awesome, and the only shop I would ever trust with my Evo. He takes customer service to a whole different level.

agreed on the customer service front. While I had my car there for the work he brought it to the local dealership to have the CMC recall done and when i picked it up on a Sunday he was there and washing my car because it was a little dirty! He also rubbed some compound on some scratches too! Great customer service overall and I will certainly be back in the future.
