Exhaust residue

Exhaust residue

I noticed that the inside of my pipes look like they have in some areas thin layers of built up residue ?() normally I haven't seen this in any other car , any ideas ?

Black carbon build up in the exhaust is normal for all cars.

It's normal BUT are you tuned/have any bolt-ons or other mods? You could be running rich, too rich is just wasting gas so maybe good to have a tuner check some datalogs (and get yourself a wideband AFR gauge)

This is the only reason I had my Wastegate turned down to the ground. With hood dump the crap gets all over your car after a while.
