Bought a 2011 X does not pass Emission from dealer

Yes aftermarket would pass BUT:

I would request a OEM cat. theres alot of cheap aftermaket cats that fail shortly after. I recently had a family member have a cat go bad and took it to the dealar and they would of fixed it for FREE but someone had put a aftermarket cat on the car so voided the emissions warranty. They just put some cheap aftermarket cat and could of just got a free one from dealear had they just went..

ALL cars have a 8 year 80,000 mile warranty on the OEM cat. Just fyi

Thanks, I have search for it a bit and concluded to insist on a OEM cat.
