I believe you would be limited to an 08-10 GTR and didn't those have some type of trans problems?

Lil something Mike W from RRE chimed in saying..

Will not happen here and seems like wild speculation even for countries with more relaxed emissions laws. They cant even figure out how to get their money together here in the US to put real seats in the normal 2015, and you think they would actually sell and people would buy this for what it would cost to run this through their normal sales channels? Some dealers are marking up the 2015 with Prancer seats, imagine the markup on top of the $70k retail price for this car... Pure mental masturbation I say. They stopped making EVOs in 2006. Time to get over it.

No GTR for me. I have kids, so 4 doors are a big win for me. Of similarly quick and good looking cars, very few compare in the winter months for function and fun... (ps I think the new Sub's are ugly).

I think my bolt on '14 GSR was a great value. The only thing of interest for me about the Final is curiosity. What parts/changes would/will they make to get that power and still feel it could be fully warrantied.

Right on.

I bought my '03 Evo new and built it up with engine/clutch/diff/suspension/brakes. Then I bought my '11 Evo MR new and enjoyed it absolutely stock with only tire and brake pad upgrades. Never had a single moment where I wanted to tweak it -- I did all that with the '03. Both were really fun cars, with very different personalities -- but both highly capable. If I wanted to go out and drive a mountain road at the limit, the '11 was the obvious choice -- in the '03, driving it at the limit on public roads would be crazy.

For all EVO X owners, with the price tag of $60K total, which would they opt with? Pick only one:

A. New modded EVO X
approximate mileage of 0 miles

OR

B. Used stock GTR
approximate mileage of 15-35K miles

Rational would be helpful to have additional understanding.

Thanks!

The evo X final concept producing almost 500 hp, WOW......it would be interesting if consumer demand exceeded Mitsubishi's sales expectations, perhaps it could keep the iconic Evolution model alive in this new form.

That's very true but in this case they are correct.

Would never be able to get this to meet any environmental regs. Nor would they be able to get anyone to pay the $60k + price tag.

They couldn't even be bothered to put Recaro's in the 2015 do you really think this is going to happen?
