Evo x to BMW 135?
This. Every issues I THOUGHT I had turned out to be nothing, or a very simple fix. I was learning about evos and everything raised an eyebrow for me.
Anyone can open those threads and read them. Yes, there are 10+ pages of other threads you started, ranging from installing an air suspension to not knowing what cars do. Those were not included, nor were the threads about a lack of tune and a desire to install more mods. Best of luck with the X.

I wanted a 335 before buying an Evo. The 135 is hideous to me and looks like a girls car but to each his own. Anyways they both have the same engine, and it is plagued with expensive problems. Turbo failures, high pressure fuel pump failures (direct injection ftl), etc. If you buy it brand new and plan on keeping it stock so it's under warranty that's the only way I'd own one.

one is about 6 years now. , the other had bolt ons only.
But the 2008 probably have more hard and rough battle milage behind it then most Evo ever will see in this forum. Aprox 15K race miles and counting...
Never driven lightly for sure.
Still runs original drive train axles - transmission (never opened) etc.
Engine has rods and pistons and cams. other then that is stock and stock parts. OEM turbo always. ACD etc os all OEM and the ACD transfere case are still the original ones.
IC is OEM. Suspension part except the coilovers and top hats are OEM and stock. (never changed , not even one bushing) Drives like new.
that car is a true testamentum how solid car the Evo.
I blew one engine ( wrong gas pumped into it) Human mistake.
