I would get a twin disc just for a reassurance you wont blow the clutch fast. From what I have heard from a master tech is you get maybe 3 good launches out of the stock clutch before they start to go.

 

twin discs are great, but i launched my car about 10 times before it started slipping on me. Just depends how the driver launches it

 

I have never once launched my car from what I know of ( can that be done in a GSR?) Also what is a good manufacture of the twin disc?

 

Yes it can be done, there is a stock launch control that you can use. But not 100% sure but I think exedy makes good ones for our cars, I'd do research though

I would say Exedy or Competition Clutches. Yup factory launch control esp off put in first gear then clutch and gas to floor and release the clutch.

 

if youre gonna launch your car, dont do this. this is dumping the clutch where you just let go of the clutch basically as fast as you can and keep your foot on the gas. this is really bad for your clutch and it is the easiest and fastest way for it to go out
