The Evo payments and Insurance is flat out a monthly house payment lol ...I just thought to my self before I got the car that nothing will be cheap on the Evo and so far I'm right in my case lol

I pay about 2600/year currently for the vette and evo together. Dropping either one would drop it to like 1600/year (they are very similar to insure). I also have a renters policy with them (Allstate). Full coverage, max limits, 30yo single male, SC, 500/500 ded.

FWIW, when I bought my X I was 24. The insurance at that time was around 800/half (which is about what I pay now). It dropped when I turned 25 (but nothing huge) and has slowly worked itself back up to the same range. Neither of the areas that I have been in (PA/SC) have atypically high insurance. Long island may be different.

35 yo male, not married, two speeders from a few years back, only the 2014 Evo GSR is insured, live in downtown Chicago - $180 per month, so just over $2,100 a year with Geico. Shop, shop, shop - there are cheaper options out there without having to go with some shady insurance co.

31, totaled my 2008 X GSR before getting the 2011 I'm in now. I'm the only one on my policy and pay $127/month with State Farm. Probably going to move to American Family here soon where I have my wife's car and our homeowner's policy.

Depends on the location. Being in NY sucks!

I'm 29 with good driving record and paid $1600/ 6 months. That's $3200/year. That's nuts! The insurance that I'm paying for the G35 and BMW X3 combined is less than the Evo alone!
