excessive brembo brake squeaking - watch video

I have a 2014 gsr and I I have extreme squealing from the brembos.

This is a video of the brakes

I went into the dealer for extremendous brake noise

When I took a tech on the test drive, my luck the brakes didn't squeak, I then pull out of the dealership and they begin to squeak again

I showed this video to the service advisor, he said if he were ask for warranty labor, corporate Won't ok because they will claim the brakes aren't broken in completely. I told him he can be rest assured I broke them in gooood

Anyone else had/having this issue?

All evos are going to make some brake noise. My suggestion would be to pull the pads out and apply some antisieze compound on the back of the pads which should help.

Antisize is nice cause its got some really good thermal resistance. The kind i have in front of me is good to 2200 F. This is always great to use on bolts, especially the big ones that get torqued on really tight. But i reccomend using permatex ceramic. Its purple and is rated to 3000 F, which is what you'd need for brakes.

Bro those almost sound as good as mine!! I don't bother using my horn to tell people to get out of my way, I simply touch the brakes !

I have the same issue and all I Do to get rid of it is braking hard at least once. lol.
There's a stop sign in my neighbor hood, so I can tell right when I'm leaving my house if my brakes will be squeaking. (some days the squeal, some days they don't for me.)

and if they squeal, then I just brake really hard at the next stop I make, and then the squeaking stops for the remainder of my trip

The squealing is super normal with the stock brake pads. Buddies that I talk to that also have X's said that the squealing went away immediately after switching to a different set of pads. You get what you pay for too. Dole out some cash for a good set of hawks or magic pads.

For me, i had the squealing coming from one particular side. It more or less had disappeared after i had to brake super hard to avoid nailing some doofus who decided to walk out in the middle of the road.

Yes, its rather normal...but car to car it can be different.
Try adjusting your pads a bit, or a bit of antisieze like they mentioned - it helps.
You can also chamfer the leading edge of the pad a bit with a file...this has helped some cars I've seen. But not too much, you are reducing the braking area by doing that.
Finally, you can change your pads - aftermarket can be more quiet, but also may produce a bit more dust too.

Up to you, what is your priority...stopping power or noise?
