Car Wont Start
Car Wont Start
I had some work done on my 08 evo x. They had to disable the anti theft system from what I was told. Now, when my car is parked in the direct sun, it won't start. Someone had mentioned that there might be a sensor that is swelling from the heat, causing the anti theft engine immobilizer to engage. All other systems come on it just wont start. I can park it in the shade all day and I never have any problems. Anyone have any thoughts on this theory or know what else might cause the car to not start when parked in the sun?
Never heard of this one before. We had a trailblazer with a ton of issues due to a security/remote start system. Would only start when it wanted to.
I highly recomend getting it fixed at the dealer back to stock as far as the electrical stuff goes. This crap can ruin a car.

Curious of why the anti theft system needed to be disabled? Was it to do a repair or completely get rid of the anti theft? Is it after market alarm? OEM system? Also anything after market electronics installed like radio, hard wired radar, etc
