Looks good i think you can get it for a less though. Also i would say its safe to say it was modded and put back to stock judging from the guages. So if you do buy it make sure you factor in the cost of getting a tune because well...who knows what its running at this point.

I got up and walked out on one dealer, he called back as I was half way down the road. I still didn't turn around, the car sat for two months and dropped in price by a few grand.

I'm just concerned because I'm searching for ANY good Evo X near me, and this is the only one remotely in my area for sale at least...

Don't limit yourself to 'your area'. I'd widen your search area to 1000 miles from your location and see what turns up. I flew out with a one way ticket to pick up a car once, and drove it home. Saved thousands. Couple hundred for plane ticket = unlimited possibilities.
