Question about.....glue?
Question about.....glue?
Washed the car over the weekend and noticed this, the glue came loose I guess on the rubber trim right in front of the rear tire above the side skirt, never happened to me on any car I've had before, any suggestions on what type of glue to use to put this back in?
That strip might be held in with a friction fit. Is there glue residue on it?
If so, 3M weather strip adhesive is stickier than gorilla snot and designed for what you need. I like it because it's black like the rubber unlike some of the glues out there.

What about taking the end with a pair of pliars, then pulling it past the crack (stretching it), then working it back into that crease completely? Doesn't seem like it would jump back out unless there is a bigger hole back there that allows the air to push it out?
