Don't see Evos or STi in SCCA or like events
Hey guys,
This is just a random thought I had while watching some road racing clips.
in events like SCCA and the like road racing competitions, how come you don't see Evos and STis?
I don't watch/follow religiously so maybe I haven't come across them but they don't seem to be participating in these events.
Is there some disadvantage that Evos and STis have over other cars in this type of racing?

im sure there out there but they are still kind of pricey and I know a lot of it has to do with in some cases the evo gets put into crazy classes because of awd. But I personally do a PDX events in my evo and its always a lot of fun!
I guess I just don't see them as pro team/sponsored cars in events that are on TV. I know plenty of people race them but I don't think I've ever seen them on TV.

i am out there and SCCA where i go they really like to see the car run with them
you can hardly see the SCCA sign, because blurred it out by the photographer
even back in early evo days here like late 2003 or early 2004 autoX etc
