I want to try, but I don't want to mess something up. Electrical is..scary..lol. I guess I can look around. I heard of "Ivey Tune"? About an hour away. Maybe they will do it.

The DDM kits are decent but I know a guy who has had a problem with lights going out all the time. So I didn't go that route even though other people have had good reviews.
I want to see what they look like in the halogen housing! The price of the projectors is cheap enough to do right after if I want.

Thanks for your take on your friends DDM experience. Only had one set of aftermarket HIDs..from xenondepot. Worked well, only one dead bulb over a few years.

Thanks to everyone. This small community is really great. Much different from other car forums I've been on.

Ddm kits will do the job. But you can't be picky on light color/output because they are all the same and you need to buy at least two kits as they will more than likely have problems. Do some research on the company, there is some interesting information on how they operate online.

have you looked at xenon hid.com?

http://www.xenonhids.com/hid-kits/20...cer-67119.html

I ordered a set for my Evoque. just waiting for brown santa to deliver.

a bit more expensive than ddm, but another option.

Thanks. I googled and didn't come up with too much negative, but will take a deeper look.

Appreciate that link too! Will check it out. So many options. Just want something others have done, that kind of last. Appreciate it.

xenonhids.com says I need a relay. "It will protect your factory wiring by bypassing the stock harness and connecting the kit directly to your car battery. Xenon lights need 3x more power to turn on and may damage your factory wiring in the long run." Also said I need capacitors, unless I get ballasts with canbus.

All the kit and bulb are the same. Retailer pay little more to make their own mold to make it look fancy. Ddm's price has always been competitive amd good warrantee.
