Ill have to check it out when I get home my work blocks that page. But I bought the the Morimoto Xb kit I think that's what it was called and it was for my wifes 2013 accord. It had really good write up for it but the relay thing is pretty easy. Ill try and take a picture of the light color when I get home later tonight

Very cool. Thank you! Its weird to me that two different sites are saying I don't need a relay.

Retrofit source is the way to go. It's the expensive route, but it would turn out so much nicer to put projectors in. Most people buy the depo projectors and replace the projector with the Evo XR

2. I looked around, and there is no mentioning of needing to ground the system. Is that an oversight?? You need to ensure when you mount both ballast that each one is screw or bolt mounted to chassis ground (or run separate wire from the case to a good ground). This completes the Farady Cage that keeps the Electro-magnetic force from emitting and ruining your radio reception.

3. No DRL's. I have a 2015 and never had them. Ah! Then you should not need a relay! The relay was to keep DRL 'sine wave' voltage from causing a flickering. The 35W system is fine using the existing wiring. Just plug the ballast into the original lightbulb wiring and the output to the new HID bulb.

You really can do this yourself - and if you get stuck - we are here! Send pix before turning the lights on if you need to...

4. I heard that a long time ago, like in the year 2000. I thought that was a myth. Good to know! Thank you! Well, they do for me - they may not for you if you don't use a relay (no DRL). Let us know!

Thanks so much Veronica! Sounds like no relay needed, but should ground to avoid radio signal issues? This makes me feel better..again. lol. I looked under the hood, looks as though its a tight squeeze. Finding a ground though is gonna be..

Using a kitfrom the retrofit source in my head lights and my fogs and worth every dollar. Don't just put them in the halogen headlights either you will blind people. You will need to do a retofit to put the projectors in so they don't blind people. My as well do it right.

The DDM kits are decent but I know a guy who has had a problem with lights going out all the time. So I didn't go that route even though other people have had good reviews.

I don't really want attempt any of this by myself and i just never got around asking a shop to install them for me because of other projects on the car. Now, i WAS going to get the DDM kit but then i heard of another website that MAY have a better plug and play set up.. But first let me give ya the info you need for the DDM kit.

You need to do a retrofit = LINK - https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...eadlights.html

Duel in, duel out
Error eliminator
Adapter cables

This is the link to the questions and answers in my thread = https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-kit-help.html

Now, i said their might be a better choice instead of DDM tuning. It is at http://www.carxenonhidkits.com

I have not had any experience with kit but their was a user on here that said he installed HID kits from http://www.carxenonhidkits.com on 3 of his cars over the years and they were excellent!

I myself have not had the courage to try them... yet. I'm undecided on what route i should take to get these wacked halogen lights out. I would buy a entire HID housing but they are very expensive...
That was me I'm installing mine from carxenonhids.com next Saturday along with a bunch of other stuff maybe I'll make a quick dyi and show what it came with

Is this configuration correct?:

35 watt
9006 bulb
color: 4300k
mounting bracket: 35w ballasts

and then don't need the Harness, Eliminator, or adapter cables???

Price is only $29.94??? Do I need anything else??

Thanks sooo much!!
Where are you in nj if you're anywhere near Essex county and want to come chill at the shop and see the install and results let me know
