I'll reach out to them too. I like the opinions of the people here, very straight, no agendas. Every online source I have contacted so far has said something different. I don't know if I believe the retrofit source more than any other online retailer. I definitely believe the Evo owners on this site though.

I have heard that too. Just want to make sure on what components are needed, since I keep hearing different things. Thanks though.

I did my install today was really smooth. low beams were easy didn't even have to jack the car up. Very easy install hooked up the the bulb to the ballast and then connected it to the original wire harness and tadaa. Fogs were a little bit more annoying but they look good. I'm trying to upload pics but it's not loading

I'm very happy I hateddd the halogens, and the install was a lot easier than I thought. Here's some more pics I took. Once I really got started I got wrapped up and forgot to take some more pics. Low beam are carxenonhidskits 6k with 55w metal ballast, Fogs are kensun 3k with 35w metal ballast I personally love the upgrade

You're the man. I have to do this now. Thanks for all the info about this. How are the 6k's? Too blue or look stockish?

5k would be factory white, but everyone likes a different look, its kind of a personal preference thing.

Except for the part where this is no 5k lol. Aren't normal bulbs either 4300 or 6000? I could be wrong though.

Well the Retrofit Resource has a 5500 k kit. But yea I would say ur right factory lights are usually within that range. Ive noticed that some kits do look a bit different even though they say there a certain K.
