Blue Seat Belts in my Octane Blue MR
Blue Seat Belts in my Octane Blue MR
A couple months ago, I sent my seat belts in to Seat Belt Planet to have them "refurbished". I had them swap the black webbing for blue (cobalt). I think they turned out really well (and match the OB paint) and wanted to share them with you guys for inspiration or criticism (there's always some of that).
The swap wasn't too bad. I just had to tear out the whole interior.
I did have to send the retractors and everything in to them, so I had no seat belts for about a week (don't worry, I drove another car). I had them expedite the order, which meant a 1 day turnaround.
Anyways, shout out to Steve Pekrul at seatbeltplanet.com for the awesome service and great quality workmanship. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. All of the belts came back labeled as to which seat they went to (I labeled them when I sent them in), retained all original tags from the manufacturer, and even came with a new tag that references my project number.
Check out the attached pictures (including some mid-install) and let me know what you think!

...Thanks for the help?
I'll try to get a picture sometime this week. It's hard to get a good shot without glare off the windshield. I'm no photographer, but I'll see what I can do.

I totally agree... but this is a DD for me so I can't give up the back seats for harnesses. I still wanted to do something different so I went this route.
Here you go, I hope these give you a different perspective. I know the lighting sucks... winter in Ohio is a bit gloomy so indoor pics are the best I could do.
