Introducing my new Evo FE
Ok, so time for a two week update.
My impressions so far --- this car is fantastic. Its got incredible power yet the ride is solid and composed. I've seen what all the reviewers say about it being "outdated, uncomfortable, and extremely cheap", but I think that criticism is mostly unwarranted. Sure, it has more plastic than a $45k bmw and has a few rattles, but this isn't really a fair comparison (but its all reviewers ever do - nitpick and compare based on mostly unimportant factors). Its comfortable enough, and being inside gives a feel like the classic sports cars of yesteryear. Its a serious sports car, not some *** wagon. Anyone worried about bruising their sandy vaj can buy something cozy and sterile like a CRV.
All things considered, I give it a 10/10 without hesitation.

Congrats man! I love my FE, I have had three Xs over the years and I keep coming back. I recommend leaving it stock for a bit, mare sure it's 100% then get a very good pro tune if you feel the need for a mod. It will help bring the honeymoon stage back.
Other than that just get tires and oil changes, find a back road and burn that gas!

My son just bought an Octane Blue FE in March, 5200 miles on it and the clutch went out two weeks ago. Any idea what to replace it with?

My son just bought his first EVO Blue FE in March, 5200 miles on it and the clutch is gone. Any recommendations on what to replace it with? Thanks
- Stop launching the car improperly which is how he probably nuked the clutch
If he wasn't launching it -
- Tell him he needs to stop riding the clutch, or if you are a good stick shift driver, you need to show him how to properly drive the car.
Your son is the problem, not the stock clutch. The stock clutch should last 100k of hard driving, as long as it is driven properly. (rev-matched downshifting, don't launch it)
