Drive belt interval?

Dies everyone that has a evo x change there serpentine / drive belts every 30k as recommended ?

I had mine changed under the warranty 10,000 miles ago. But just take a look at the condition. Personally its an easy and cheap maintenance item. I'd rather spend an hour on a Friday than get stranded on the side of the road if it snapped lol

it never hurts to change maintenance items at the recommended intervals.

Just check the belt for signs of fatigue or cracking and if it looks good then let it go for another 6 months or a year then check it again!

dont know what year you have but there is a TSB recall that the dealership will replace for free.

Seems like a semi easy job. But just the fact that subies and Hondas don't need replacing for 100 average, this seems excessive on mitsubishs part. But better safe than sorry I suppose.
