^exactly. I don't understand the need to keep a 30K car in pristine condition and drive a 1K beater all the time. Leave a fun car in the garage to putt around in a sad little beater all the time? no thanks.

these cars definitely bring all the idiots out with something to prove rev at you, tailgate you, etc.

Just the other day, 2 idiots in a Saab kept ducking and weaving in traffic and blow by me in traffic...

I have 50k miles on a 2013 GSR with a 7670 kit from Moore. I take it on road trips, to the dragon and to the track. The way i look at it is that mileage doesn't matter as long as you maintain the car and I'm going to build the motor eventually so who cares...

My feeling exactly. Why leave a streetable (non-track/race) Evo stuck in the garage... drive it! I've never understood the whole "I don't want to put the miles on it" conversation. If you are that worried about resale value, why buy the car in the first place? All vehicles depreciate overtime, low and high mileage.

they don't make them anymore and high miles on things like a AYC components, somethings just can't be fixed like factory. when you want to use the car as a sports car or on track everything needs to be working as it was from the factory. On top of that why drive any nice car to have it sit in a lot getting poop or dents for 8-10 hours?

When I used to work at a fertilizer plant you would get pot ash dust all over the car and that stuff rusts anything.

I love the Evo X as a DD. Other than the stupidly small trunk it works great, 4 doors, AWD and fast! My Evo is my "other car" and my M3 sits in the garage. I want it to be super reliable so it only has bolt-ons and coilovers. It does see the occasional autoX though.

I put 90k on my first Evo X and it was awesome. It never went to the shop once. If some lady hadn't ran a stop sign and smashed it, i'd still be driving it to this day.
