My Evo still has a Panasonic battery... does that mean it is the original? The Panasonic is a Gel Battery? What is the CCAs?

Panasonic is the OEM battery. Not sure if it's gel or not. CCA stands for cold cranking amps.

Yes I know what CCA stands for, was wondering if anyone knows the number. I read 700CCA but that seems high. Anyone know if the Panasonic battery is a GEL or regular flooded?

The Ralliarts battery is 530CCA. EVO X should be the same thing.

It's not a standard lead acid battery.

If your trying to replace it, just get an optima group 35

I was trying to test my battery... the battery tester needs to know cca and battery type to get an accurate test. I' ll have to pull it out and read the stickers. Amazing 9 years old and the car starts fine.
