Is this ad a scam?

Hi I am looking for an Evo X and have just opened it up to GSR and MR and I came across this ad. The price looks too good to be true.
I was thinking it was a rebuilt title and I am in contact with dealer to find out.
If it is a rebuilt should I still get it and do you guys know the downsides of a rebuilt title vs clean.

That screams 'more than meets the eye'. If it's too good to be true it probably is. Just get a complete normal car that you know the history on. That thing could have been underwater in the ocean and some asshat rebuilt it. Then they tell you 'nope I bent a rim and the insurance totaled it'.

It's more than $10,000 cheaper than it should be. It has a phone number, call and see what in the world is up, and report back.

I live in Houston I bet money if I showed up that car wouldn't exist. This has SCAM written all over it.

NM, didn't refresh before posting.

Those pics were taken a couple of years ago. It obviously doesn't get driven much if he says it only has 5k now. Better check that one out before signing on the dotted line.

I'd ask questions about where the title is located and why he wants to sell so cheap. If legit, he could easily tack another 8-10k on his asking price.

Pretty sure there are lots of scams out there like this. Ive ran into a few that are worded just like this on craigslist and a quick google search revealed the scam. Im not saying this one is a scam but it is the same story.

The whole "I'm in a different country but selling my car in the US" leads to "wire transfer me the money and I will arrange delivery of the car" etc leads to a huge scam.

If I can't see the car in person, shake the actual owner's hand and talk to him/her face to face, I would not even consider it. That's a fair bit of money to be toying around with.
