broken plastic piece found in driveway help identify it

hey guys didn't know which forum to post this in. i found a broken plastic piece under my car when i was backing it in last night. i had the music up a little when i was turning and backing i heard a sound like a crunching noise. didn't think anything of it since everything still worked but in the morning i found this piece in the drive way. any idea what it might be or were i should even start looking??? i looked under the car and didn't see anything. it does have grease in it.

It was probably already in your driveway and that crunching noise you heard was probably the weight of your car breaking whatever that's made out of.

Doesn't look like any Evo piece I can think of. Whatever drivetrain that came off of is going to be having issues before long... so keep an ear out for whoever was there last to complain about their car breaking.

Might have come off a car that was passing through and your driveway was where it wound up.

If that came off your car it wouldn't drive correct.

yea your probably right. its weird, made out of plastic and has grease in it. i assume its at least not part of the drive train nor suspension since its made out of brittle plastic. ive also has most of the car tore apart and never seen anything like this.
