At least with the CL Evo you have more negotiating options and more time to test it out and get it checked vs. some stealership that just wants to make a deal as quickly as possible.

Why? I bought my 14 GSR from a dealer with 39k miles and couldn't be happier.

I work for a dealership. Dealerships have a bit more strict rules to sell cars. Thats why the price is always higher then a private. If they sell a lemon it can come back on them.

Not everyone's experience will be the same obviously. I looked for my Evo a long time and (almost) every dealer Evo I saw was either extremely modded with no service records, no knowledge on tune, or returned to stock the most half assed way possible. But, I was also specifically looking for an MR and I think some kind of history on the care of the SST is important. I personally would try my best to avoid a dealership used Evo.
