So I have had a dead key fob for awhile now. Just haven't had a chance to go in to the dealership to reprogram them.

Today I got a bit of a break at work so I take my car in to the local dealer.

After an hour, the tech comes back and says that the keys are dead because of the scary tune on my car...

I told him it has nothing to do with the tune and he is insisting that it is.

"So the car ran fine for 4 years since the tune and now it is all of a sudden a tune problem?"

Then he goes on about how the CAN BUS is not communicating blah blah blah, so I paid for the 1 hr of labor and just left because it is like arguing with a brick wall.

When he brings my car around, he says "You should try a new key, I remember another key that had this problem and needed a new key"

Oh so now it's not the tune...

Seriously, if you don't know what it is, just say so, don't make **** up.

I should have known better than going there again after they suggested that I replace my ECU because I was getting cam sensor codes on my car because of my tune. Turns out there was a TSB out for reprogramming the ECU for that exact faulty code. Seriously IDIOTS. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these so called techs, IDIOTS!

Sorry for the rant. just so irritating.
