I researched and looked at EVOs for 3 years before buying a brand new stock. It's easier to find alien life than to find a genuinely stock EVO.

valid point. I'm not looking in the 30k range though. I' rather have some tasteful mods and low miles if stock isn't an option

always have anything used inspected, by someone of your choice.

i know i traded my 014 flexfuel 5150/jon tuned 430hp: tomei headers, apex exhaust, ams intake, grimspeed BC, coils muellerized; whatever else. with every and all maintenance. not a single scratch or ding. with 38k miles for 28k

i know whoever got that car got a solid car.

i would try and find a private buyer, and ask a lot of questions, also if you can plug in and check for codes.

IMHO; I think if its only been on the stock turbo, your in pretty good shape.

if you care, im driving GL45 AMG now......i do miss the evo it was such and event to drive thou. i needed something more jump in and go.

I recently bought my evo believing it was entirely stock except for an AEM intake which I was fine with. Noticed an over boosting issue, turns out the guy installed a COBB ebcs. Now who knows what was done to it... all is well for now.

I'd suggest bringing someone with you who knows about these cars.

I have a 2014 completely stock Wicked White Evo X with only 6k miles(when I mean stock I got original sticker on windshield and original sticker airbag I never removed). Lost my old account so I'm waiting the 15 day period to post on the classifieds. I have a couple members here that can vouch for me personally so if you're looking to buy message me. I'm one of the few stock guys too!

I always try to look for stock... There's a much smaller chance of the car blowing up like that, its not the end of the world if its got a down pipe, exhaust, intake, etc... but watch out, and do some detective work to make sure it hasn't been taken back to stock from a heavily modified state...

Bought mine used with 31K, test pipe, exhaust, intake, bov, and no tune for over a year. Passed compression test and got it tuned with no problem.

Jesus Christmas you got lucky... Last person I knew with those same mods on his tuneless evo x received a nice hole in the block within a few weeks.

I'm looking at a 13 EvoX that had catback and short shift kit but was returned to stock. I am actually in contact with the previous owner and she traded it in for a truck. It needs the diff and transfer case fluids changed but only has 55,2XX miles on it. Exhaust does not require a tune, correct?
