trunk swap with fast key button

Hello everyone,

I apologize if this has been brought up before but the searching I tried didn't answer my question. If I wanted to swap trunks with another gsr owner same model year, and we both have the fast key buttons, how does that work? Would we have to swap our buttons out also? Is that even possible? Or would we just need to get the keys/buttons reprogrammed? Thanks.

I think the transponder is on the bumper. The trunk itself isn't controlled by the fastkey. Maybe someone else can chime in, but I don't think it's a problem.
