Just in case there are any lingering thoughts. there was nothing wrong with the tune, the car just "happened" to start right away when I flashed it on that day. My starting problem was caused by a faulty injector that did not get caught during the injector cleaning service. FIC has responded and remedied the issue since. I was able to purchase a new injector through them at a discounted price and now my car starts reliably again.

If your car starts to idle funny, smell like gas (more than usual), or take damn near forever to start, check those injectors ! Do not let it be a normal part of the cars behavior or else bad things can happen....
