With 2200+cc at 43.5 psi, can it be tuned down to idle right on 91? On my 1090cc injectors, my log shows 1.8 ms pulse width. I would expect yours to be 0.9 ms (let's assume you have 2.0L for now). But at idle, my fuel pressure is about 33 psi before shutting off engine, so when starting warm engine, it should be at 33 psi. If your afpr is set to 43psi with vacuum on, isn't your pulse width around 0.68 ms? Accounting for 2.3L, that's about 0.79 ms, which is right under the "Linear Pulse Width Area" And is barely in the "Short Pulse Width Area". I would think that if you can reduce idle fuel pressure to 35 psi, the pulse width would move up to 0.97 ms and would make life easier for your tuner. Also, wouldn't the the lower fuel pressure make your pump happier?

He doesn't have an idle problem, he has a startup problem. Cranking PW's are higher than idle PW's.
Had some time to play with the car during lunch and flashed an older map, started up right away!
I think I know what's going on. When finalizing the tune, Aaron and I were working on startup and warm up for E85 (cranking fuel and warm up enrichment). We must have gone too far rich as both E85 and 91 maps get effected during this adjustment for some reason. Maybe it's a global setting? I'll contact him and see what he thinks we should do, it might just need a small adjustment the other way.

There are certain channels that have it, but I forget what they're called. You have to order them from your cable provider specifically. Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Dexters Lab, Invader Zim, The Animaniacs, DBZ .....man I watched those and more for days. Today, kids watch even weirder looking characters. Toonami was the **** !!
Small update folks and I'll save you the long story. Just in case there are any lingering thoughts. there was nothing wrong with the tune, the car just "happened" to start right away when I flashed it on that day. My starting problem was caused by a faulty injector that did not get caught during the injector cleaning service. FIC has responded and remedied the issue since. I was able to purchase a new injector through them at a discounted price and now my car starts reliably again.
If your car starts to idle funny, smell like gas (more than usual), or take damn near forever to start, check those injectors ! Do not let it be a normal part of the cars behavior or else bad things can happen....
Is there a way to tell which injector is faulty? How do we know they missed it when cleaning?
Yes, if you pressurize the top of the injectors with fuel or cleaning solvent, the bottom of the injectors will begin to leak if they are bad. These injectors have a soft polymer valve that can be damaged if it had shut on a grain of sand in the past. We know they missed it because I retested them when I got them back and the leak was still present. If you don't keep the injectors pressurized long enough, the leak wont show. It took about a minute or so for my leak to show up, it wasn't obvious at all. It was enough to keep an engine from starting though!
Hit six 1's today on this chassis, wish I could say original motor, but we are waayyyy past that now . Still on the original wheel bearings, but they seem to be doing fine.
