Buying new (to me) Evo X. Needing advise.
I am buying a 2015 Evo X GSR with 54,000 miles in the next couple days. Only mod its ever seen is a bov by HKS according to owner. It recently had service and inspection passed. Should I run any tests before buying? Compression? Chip fluid test? I ran a VIR and it checks out. Should I call a mitsu dealer to verify about warranty repairs? The car looks clean. I’m mostly worried about the drive train. Should I do a fluid change after buying? And stick with oem fluids?
Thanks for reading guys. Any advise appreciated (I also have to travel 10 hours to the car so I can’t look at it close until I get there)

Do all of the things. Call it protecting your investment~! I hired an pre-purchase car inspection and changed every fluid after I decided to buy mine. It came with a CarFax so that was really helpful too! It is good practice
Good Luck!

If you have a 10 hour drive, and you're serious about the car, pay the seller to take it to a nearby shop for a PPI. Even if you walk away, the seller should have some value in being able to show it to another prospective buyer so they shouldn't complain unless they're hiding something.
Also, unless the seller is running it recirculated, that BOV is going to make drivability somewhat crappy on an otherwise stock car.
