Sell my Si for an Evo X?
Sell my Si for an Evo X?
I currently drive a 2019 civic si sedan. It has 36k miles (purchased with 18k miles) and I purchased it because I wanted a reliable daily that gets good gas mileage and I could put a ton of miles on it since my job was 55 miles away. I have now moved and my job is literally less than 2 miles from my home.
I was looking into selling my civic which I could without losing any money. I was searching locally and found a clean 2 owner evo x gsr with 64k miles, ohlin coilovers, Whiteline sway bar, enkei rpf1's. It would basically be the same cost to own.
Biggest upside with the Honda is its newer, great on gas, cheap insurance and it came with a lifetime powertrain warranty.
I just always wanted an evo x. Would I be making a horrible decision? I know the maintenance would be more on the evo especially with it being 11 more years older than my civic.
Any suggestions? Inputs?
My goal was to keep the evo slightly modded with minor bolt on mods and keep it like an oem plus build.

Evos are super reliable if you maintain them well and don't mod them to the moon. 64k is nothing. Just make sure it's been maintained well.
If you want a very capable and fun car, then the Evo 10 will be another world compared to the Si.
