Just put the car together. 2014 gsr and we keep Getting BRAKE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED.. we have double checked everything and no idea why it’s on. Evo scan shows no codes, pads are new, it has plenty of fluid. Anyone got any tips lol
Happen to me when I did mine a couple times. It’s the pads settling in or could be other issues. I would just keep driving it hopefully it’ll stop popping up while driving.

so the car sat for two years. The rotors were “rusted” but the rotors and the pads were brand new. After I got it running with braiding the rust basically came off. I am wondering if that might have caused something. The pads had plenty of life left and I would hate to change everything and it not fix anything.
Double check the connection to the fluid level sensor. Make sure there's no corrosion in the connector if it sat for 2 years. You can also check the switch for operation using a multimeter with continuity detection. The brake fluid level switch is normal when the following conditions are met: When the brake fluid level is above "MIN," continuity is detected; and when the level is below "MIN," no continuity is detected.

the sensor triggers the light when the sensor closes the circuit.
We then used a short lead to jumper the plug but it did not change the service light or anything.
You might try a different scan tool too. Im not sure if evoscan can pull ASC codes.
it is. I took the whole console out. I might try and jump the sensor but everything seems to work as should. Iv tried using a very fancy scanner my father in law has and it still shows zero codes
