This is exactly my point. I pretty much always wear my seatbelt out of habit...even if im just driving down my driveway. So please dont flame me on this.

just buckle the seat belt and sit on it, this way it fools the car into thinking your wearing your seat belt.

look at the bottom of the receiver for the seat belt and see if you can follow the wire to the harness where it connects. the wire should be relatively simple either a 3 or 2 wire harness. Just jump the wire with a paper clip or something and wrap some electrical tape around it. Keep the key on and just jump the wires ON THE SEATBELT HARNESS ONLY. Once the sound goes away tape it down. Not responsible for any shorts or other problems.

i was wandering this too - unless there is another way to solve this.

Reason:
What happens when i want to put in a harness instead of the seatbelt?
Do harneses plug into the seatbelt sensor somehow or would you need to disable it / put in the seatbelt clamp in permanently?

Since i never did a harness install i have no idea what needs to be done

under the driver seat, the tranny side you will find a white connector tighten up to the bottom of the seat. You just simply need to disconnect it.
