We installed the AEM TRU BOOST, and are having a conflict with some of the suggested % Duty and Spr crack pressure from the forum.

Currently running K&N cone filter.

Our AEM EBC is set to 47% Duty and 8.0 crack pressure. 23 PSI peak - 16.5PSI
This was trial and error in 2nd and 3rd pulls.

We tried some suggested 58% duty with 12.0 crack pressure, and had 25+ PSI PEAK, and got the CEL in 5th that some others got.

BOTTOM LINE is in curreny setup with K&N Id like to be running a steady and safe 24PSI PEAK and 18.5-19 PSI steady. Any suggestion what are we doing wrong etc.

In the future we will add Agency Power full Exhaust, AP Intake, AP hard pipe.

My setting on the AEM is:

62% Duty on A and spring set a 11. Which gives me a peak 24.5 in 3rd taper to 19.5. But I also get a SES in 5th gear.

I also got a cone filter on also. I like the amount of power I get with this setting.
I have tried 60% and 13 spring, 22.5 psi in third which I didn't like. I just dont boost much in 5th until some tuning is available.

 

where r u guys hooking up the boost gauge to?? wat hose under the hood
